    It sure is a pain in the neck trying to find a convenient reefer trailer washout facility from time to time. Does anyone know of a good resource of finding washout locations? I found this (biosecuritycenter<dot>org/truckwash.php) on the web but I'd like to print something out for easy use while in the truck.

    I may end up compiling a list from the data on that site but I figured I'd ask around here first. Would anyone else be interested in such a list?

    What type of wash out? Because I know that there is a list of them on certain load boards.

    I haul fresh chicken. Any truck wash place will usually do for me.

    If you go to http://www.nttsbreakdown.com and enter your state and city, then select Truck Wash from the services list, you should get a list of the ones closest to you. Although you may want to call and double check with the locations. When I enter Richmond, VA the 5th TW down the list is Spray King in Williamsburg, and that has been closed for over 2 years, torn down, and a BBQ restaurant built on the spot.

    A lot of Chemical/Food tank trailer cleaning facilities can wash out refers, there is a nationwide list on Modern Bulk Transporter magazines web site.
