Got an update for ya guys while I wait for parts. Unplugged injectors on the side of the head one at a time. #4 zero change to idle. Looks like some oil has seeped through the pass through as well so I will need to get one of those. Also hooked a noid light to the harness and it is blinking away from the ECU. So that seems fine. Cleaned up the connections on the harness but it didn't change anything. This truck has had a miss the whole time I have owned it but intermittent at idle. Was probably this injector acting up the whole time. I never worried much because it ran great down the highway. Now this injector must be full dead cause truck runs like #### down the road now too. Anyways glad I got an injector on the way! In the future I will probably replace them in pairs. Going to see how this repair goes first. Thanks again to everyone. Really appreciate the help.

Oil in the pass through connections are common. Low cost pre maintenance item. You can change them without taking the cover off. A pair of forceps are handy to use.
Here's another low cost pre maintenance, thread on this website.

I use a temp gun to check for cold exhaust where the manifold bolts to the head, sometimes a hole isn’t completely dead and will show up checking for the cooler cylinder.
I’ve had success with injectors built by Warren at Premco in Texas. Reasonable prices as well.
Bought a set of injectors from a place in Pennsylvania few years ago, think they were in Greencastle..? $600 for injectors, and $600 to set them up, $1200 total. Premco is about $750 for my old Big Cam…. -
Hey fellas. Wanted to give a final update. Everything went smooth! New injector is in. Did overhead adjustments on cylinders 3 and 4 while it was all apart. Truck idles great. Engine hitting on all cylinders again. I should probably do a full overhead at some point. I will always wonder if I could have potentially just changed the injector wiring with new and fixed my issue? The ring sealing the oil out was flat. Which allowed oil into the pass through, which is bad for electrical signals. Injector itself could have been alright but if I am there taking everything apart...might as well get a new injector. They are also unknown condition to me. They supposedly have 200-300k on them but they are much older than 2-3 years. The truck sat for a lot of years with very little use after the engine was completely overhauled. Something like 50k miles in around 10 years or so if I remember correctly. 2023 was the first year I used it heavily as well. I am sure I will be doing more injectors in the near future. But it is honestly a pretty easy job as long as you take your time and triple check any details. You definitely don't want to send a push rod through the block or have the top end come apart. Thanks again to everyone for the help.
