My CDL and Drivers Licence Have Been Cancelled?

This is absolutely nuts here .
I just got a call from my company saying my liscence has been cancelled and I cant drive anymore . No other information.

Called about 20 different DMVs in my state, no one answers the phone. Best I could get was putting my info into the automated system and getting a garbled message saying something about "cancelled because drivers liscence identification card being issued an (or "in"? message is hard to hear) error ." There are 0 points on my license.

So now I can't drive anywhere and can't work. I have to get a relative to pick me up , drive a crazy distance , go back home , and physically walk into a DMV (I'm assuming with an appointment) to even begin to sort this out.

Has this ever happened to anyone ? How could your licence just be revoked with no warning suddenly like this ? I haven't done anything this week bc my truck was in the shop , so my last paycheck is today . This is insane.

 

This is the closest transcription I can get from the automated system from the DMV, after listening to it several times.

"your driver's liscence status is : cancelled. pick up liscence . it is due to your driver's licence identification card being issued in error "

 

My medical card is good through 2022 , shouldn't be anything related to that . I had to get all that stuff done and sent in before I started working in May.

Don't have kids

I can't do that because my liscences are cancelled. I guess I could ask my relative to drive me by one .

 

Even if it was some sort of error in issuance of my liscence why in gods name would they just cancel it out of the blue ? Why not give me time to make an appointment, get routed home , get it fixed, and be on my way ? I could stand to lose weeks and thousands of dollars of pay due to whatever this error is.

 

I can't even make any appointments at any DMVs, there's no apparent way to get anyone on the phone , my only option is to go to one in person . I did send them an email with my issue but God knows how long it would take to get a response from that .

That's crazy and I figure I wouldn't be the only one this happened to if that were the case. That school pumps out a ton of CDL graduates per month going to two major mega carriers mostly .

I can't even afford to go back up there to retake it. DMV isn't offering driving tests. This is crazy ...
