Hi all,
I know this may seem like a redundant post on an otherwise well covered topic but I'm a bit freaked out.
Bought this truck last year (15 T680) with 348k and 11k hours. When bought it had 35psi oil pressure at idle at 195F and 60+ at 1340rpm at 215F with aftermarket filters and 15w45. Oil sample was very good with 10k on the oil. I changed the oil immediately with 10w30 Rotella and Paccar filters and the pressure dropped significantly to 28psi at 190F and 53PSI at 215F. Oil changed twice, now sitting at 433k mi and since the weather started warming up I'm now at 24psi idle at 200F and 49psi at 1340RPM at 215F. There is also a 4-7psi swing from coasting to full throttle.. So it goes as low as 43psi at 1340RPM at 215F.
I'm worried I'm looking at an imminent rebuild that I can't yet afford. CCV module has been replaced recently as well due to intermittent 0 rotor speed.
Anyone have the oil pressure spec for the MX 13 EPA 13?
Edit: She burns some oil too. 0.5 gal in 30k.

Should I be concerned about the pressure swing between coasting and full throttle?
Lol, my VIN too.Goodysnap Thanks this. -
I dont see anything alarming in your numbers- Pay close attention to the Oil filte spinner bearings top and bottom during next PM. Check sensor for rational KOEO with scantool.
