Noticed my air Muncie PTO is stuck on.(engaged) Is there a way I can dis-engage the pto so I can drive the truck to the mechanic which is about 50 min. away. Thanks.

If you unhook line from pto is air coming from it with the switch off? If so plug it or bend it double and tie strap it.

Didn't check that will tomorrow though. So if air is coming out of the line with the switch off what does that tell me?

Switch is bad. The air piston in PTO is returned by a spring. I never saw one brake. Maybe the piston is stuck.

So is there a way to dis-engage or disconnect the Pto so I can drive the truck to the mechanic?

Cap the air line with something and either bring it to the mechanic or go get a new switch and replace it. There pretty straight forward to swap out. If it's the same exact switch just put the lines in the same spot on the new one.

    AModelCat Thanks this.
