If you are currently using the Mudflap app for fuel discounts are you seeing the advantages of doing so? Also is there a bigger discount for linking your checking account as opposed to a credit card? I've heard there is but I'm curious to know for sure.

.02$ per gallon extra direct link to bank

I see the advantage, probably having a fleet card would give a bit better and better total coverage, but so far its working for me. If youve got the extra cash to put on a fleet account card, do it. But also link your bank to mudflap.

If you just need savings NOW, run mudflap and help it get you to a fleet card.

Saved me about 1000$ so far, which is an average of about 25cents a gallon

I have the Truckers Advantage fuel card and all this time I haven't seen the advantage, especially in my primary operating area.

Works at the Blu Lng places around Memphis/SLC usually cheaper.
Got fuel the other day for 2.81 instead of PFJ or Petro who wanted 3.40

No downside to popping on the mudflap app and checking it out then.

Dont even HAVE to use it, no cost, my guess is they just skim a bit of the discount. There are areas that its weak but im sure thats true of any card too

Only thing missing i guess to give you a snapshot is say what is your "area" ?

As i said, coverage is somewhat area dependent, but large tanks can fix most of it.

Primarily southwest, I-15, but I do venture out and about sometimes as well, and have seen better results with my card in the midwest and southeast. Last Thursday diesel was listed at $4.00 at the Nephi, Utah Flying J...I had never seen $4 before in Utah, ever.

I got it because some places don't take my fuel card, or can't enter the information. The discount is nice.

I used to always pay cash for fuel, and fueled at the mom and pop fuel stops. With the rising fuel prices, I decided to go with NASTC and so far I am happy with them.
