Have a 1999 Peterbilt 378 with the fuel tanks under the drivers and passenger doors. Would like to slide them back and put the batteries and a tool box step under the doors like my other truck. Are the frames on these pre drilled for this or am I going to have to drill new mounting holes?

I am gonna have to say it depends, some of my sleeper trucks we turned into daycabs had the holes for the cab air ride mounts already, along with holes for smaller fuel tanks that were already there. You could take a mag drill and a really good drill bit and drill them.

Good thread want in to move mine too but only so the nozzle is up straight instead of sideways. The 387 with the side fuel fairings makes it hard to fuel.

If you move the tanks so the nozzle is straight up and fill the tank, when the fuel gets hot, it expands and will leak out. Also if the fuel line feeds from the bottom, there will be fuel in the tank but you won't be able to get it to feed to the engine.
