Before you add beacons to your truck, you may want to check into the regulations for the states you will operate in. Some have mounting guidelines, a few, like Nevada, require permits. A few also have a cover when not in use requirement.
These regulations may have changed some in the 6 or so years from when I had them on the truck.

Factory or dealership, I've been thinking about it on my truck and figure if I get a headache rack I'll mount them off that

I recently tapped into that for back up led’s. I have my strobe on its own circuit with a switch.

But basically if you tap into the work light, you already have power and ground there. Just got to drill some holes on the side of your fairings maybe, mount it, run the wires. I experimented on my back up led’s, used twist nuts to connects the three power and three grounds, then made a homemade junction box out of Tupperware, then silconed it up. Soldered all the other connections.

I sure hope that jury-rigged mess happened as a quick solution on a cold day.

Well kind of. Every thing is soldered, dielectric grease and shrink wrapped! Lol ... except the three way

I was trying to figure a way to solder the three way connection and still shrink wrap it. And I didn’t want butt connectors, so why not twist nut it, and isolate it from the weather! The twist nuts are “weatherproof” too.

I guess I could of run two wires together and solder it into the other and still cover it with shinkwrap
