Has anyone seen this product? Has anyone TRIED this product?

The following is posted on their website. (Source http://motorkote.com/64oz-motorkote-stiction-remover.html )
    ===============================================================================================

Injection Stiction occurs when oxidation & carbon build-up form inside the injector. This is related to newer injection technology that runs hotter & causes the oil side of the injector to stick or foul. MotorKote® Diesel Stiction Remover™ removes carbon build-up & provides a coating to eliminate friction in diesel injectors.

    BENEFITS:
    • Often Restores Fouled Injectors
    • Helps Restore Lost Power & Compression
    • Fights Deposit Build-up
    • Helps Reduce Friction Drag & Wear
    • Helps Prevent Build-up of Harmful Chemical Oxidation
    • Helps Reduce Noise & Vibrations in Lifters & Valves
    • Reduces Blow-by & Helps Smooth Idle
    RECOMMENDED USAGE:
    • Initial cleanup in Pickup Truck replace 64 fl oz of oil with Diesel Stiction Remover®
    • Prevention replace 32 fl oz of oil
    • Initial cleanup in Semi Truck replace 128 fl oz of oil with Diesel Stiction Remover®
    • Prevention replace 64 fl oz of oil

I haven't found anyone talk about this product on forums, but when I start looking up other products of theirs, 80% seem to be bogus promotional posts from Chinese marketing firms (single post users with unsubstantiated claims), with 20% seeming to be from legitimate forum users (high post counts). I'd love to believe a witch doctor, but I'm not willing to spend what will be nearly $130 after taxes and shipping costs on snake oil. Just wanting thoughts or experiences.

I always add Lucas or Howies to my fuel, but thought maybe trying this might offer additional help to improve performance.

You are running Howes and you are worried about snake oil? Our local truck stop has started winter treating their fuel with Howes for the first time I'm having gel problems with their fuel.

UH, oh. you mentioned you used lucas. be ready.. you just made yourself a dart board on here. :yes2557: I have used it too. I used it for 14 years going over the 1.5 mil mark. I like it in the summer heat when oil can thin out. most on here do not see anything good about it, but they are civil in their opinion on it.

ok, about bad pump injection units I see every day... not so many kinds of damage:
1- bad nozzle, leaks fuel - black smoke
2 bad valve and pump unit leaks fuel in return - no power, miss
    3. bad nozzle - exaust gas goes in return line - black, contaminated fuel, miss

    heavyhaulerss and EverLuc Thank this.

(In reference to Lucas or Howes)
Haha, I guess I'm a sucker! I bought a used truck last summer that I suspected hadn't been used/worked in about 4 years (just reading the paperwork in the truck). I decided that using additives to the fuel probably wouldn't hurt, but never really read about the true effect of the additives. Seeing those products being used constantly and finding them at my favorite independent stores helped sell me.

I always wondered how effective Lucas Fuel Treatment was, when I tried to use it in winter, it would pour thicker than syrup.

I have used lucas fuel treatment. filled entire fuel filter(davco) with it. pored rest in the tanks. saw a difference in engine starting quicker & better m.p.g. if you use it fill primary filter with it & put rest is tanks at fill up.

Is "stiction" even a scientific word that engineers use?

"Oxidation" is rust. If the inside of your injectors are rusty nothing that comes in a bottle is gonna cure your ills.

I use Lobos Fuel Stupifier, run three Turdolater 3000 fuel tubes in series to align my fuel particles and have Hurricane Air Vaporizer and I make so much money in fuel savings I travel to foreign countries and build cafeterias for the starving children.

I'm not sure about this stuff.....my gut tells me to leave it alone.....the people marketing it claim that it will keep your fuel injectors from gumming up and "sticking".... I guess the only thing I'm wondering is, how many snakes are in a bottle of this stuff???

Are all those additives made by the same people that make those pills that will make my tally whacked bigger? I don't want to take a chance on getting a plugged up fuel injector.
