Most indestructible so-239 antenna stud mount

    That's a copy of one that was produced in the early 80's by some clown in Detroit - the difference is his was close to 50 ohms and was actually indestructible.

    I've bought breedlove mounts for some of my antennas before I made a bunch of my own. A bit cheaper than breedlove but still their is the best.

    looks indestructible.....that figures a quality product a lot of us could use and they stop the manufacturing of it....

    they still manufacture it but very few people are selling it

    whats the deal with the big wilson gum drop mounts?
    Always thought they were a good idea for those big heavy coiled antennas, but some reports ive seen say they're junk...with no specifics.
    Water/salt intrusion is all I can think of that could go wrong..or maybe unknowingly break inside?

    I use a copper sealant that works well on some of these mounts, no water issues.
