So I get up this morning to throw out my trash bag and I noticed that I missing the cap on my oil hub seal on my steer tire which I’m pretty sure it’s from when I got stuck the other day. How dangerous is that because I’ve been driving like that for the past two days.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Is there still oil in the cap ?
If its empty I wouldn't leave if you at a truck stop
.theres a good chance the bearings are damaged and being on the steer axle .. I wouldn't take any chances
If its got some oil in it yet I would find a plug and fill it up .. but still have it checked out as soon as possible

Not trying to be “that guy”, but c’mon driver, you’ve got to look more closely at your truck every time you stop. You have no idea how incredibly lucky you got.

So, 2 entire days with no oil cap? By now your spindle is probably ruined, and I'd bet it's pretty much red-hot when you get off the highway? It's only a matter of a day or 2 before your steer tire bearings completely melt, and the entire tire, wheel, and brake assembly breaks free and takes the off-ramp on it's own. Have fun controlling your rig once you only have 1 steer tire left.....

FWIW, careless guys like you probably should look for work better suited to their casual attitude towards safety.....

You keep insulting other members you won't be here long. You are never going to get everyone giving the answers you are looking for.
