Slow down Dryver!! But seriously, I drove one for a couple of weeks and anything above 50mph the mirrors became useless. Good Luck -
cascadia I drive does the same think. I am thinking of putting a sponge ball on two of the sides and see how that helps.
Kansas Thanks this. -
My old FLD had Power mirrors and they vibrated all the time. I now have manual mirrors on my Western Star and they don't vibrate at all. I just have them tightened very tight. The power mirrors work on a ball-n-socket type setup so the glass is "loose" from the housing as where the manual mirrors the glass is sealed to the frames with a rubber grommet.
You can always do like I see most trucks and just duct tape the dang things do they don't shake LOL -
I would carefully take it apart and see whats going on inside, maybe some new parts would straighten it out or at least make it better. Drove some kind of Aero KW some years ago and the mirrors were fine.

I had someone suggest I take the cover off the mirror and install 2 springs. One going across one going vertical. It sounds good in theory. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

I like MNdrivers idea, except I would remove the plastic from the front and install a sponge or foam ball inside there.

On the Pete 387, they came out with a "fix" for the wobbling mirrors. Pete dealers sold a kit for $70 that you installed in the backside of the mirror and was basically a foam sponge type deal. Maybe something like that can be used here???

Thanks for the info I am going to check into the kit.

take the back off , go too wife-girl freind lingerie drawer, get her bra , put two foam balls in each cup's , stretch it up and down now you got your ball holder, duct tape too the top and bottom, put back cover on, done deal , lmao
