Try Schneider Viracon account out of Owatonna. Schneider is somewhat of a pita to work for but this account is good. Pays well, hauling architectual glass. They have at least 4 local positions..maybe more since I left. Local paid min of 900 a week.

 

If you don't mind manual labor, you can try food or beverage distributors like Coke, Pepsi, Budweiser, Sysco, etc.

They're almost always home at night and on weekends, but there is a fair amount of manual labor involved since you're moving around cases and cases of product. I worked for the local Pepsi bottler about 8 years ago and it paid decent with a $500 per week salary plus a bonus of something like 10 cents per case I delivered and I normally had 9000 - 12000 cases on the trailer, so it was an average of about $100 "extra" per day. Those places typically start really early in the morning, I was in at work by 03:30 most mornings, so if you're not a morning person (I wasn't) then it might not be a good fit.

Try Dart,we have Minnesota local and daycabs,I believe they even take students.

 

Dedicated Logistics, Valley Cartage, ABF, and a bunch of other LTL carriers. Dart has some sort of local hauling that they do.
