Hi all I'm curious what different LTL carriers do for their drivers. I've heard rumors that Old Dominion puts $25,000 into the drivers 401k. I've heard Fedex Freigt gives their drivers $10,000 bonus. For Saia I've heard it was a gold ring with diamonds in it.
I work for ReddawY and here we get 1). Dinner at a restaurant of our choice with the family and boss. 2). Our choice of a Bulova watch or a ring similar to a class ring. 3). A framed certificate of safety. 4). A decal for our bid truck.
I would like to hear what other companies give out.
God bless you and thanks for the replies.
Million mile awards.

What? Asking what shiny trinkets you get for doing your job?
Once again, if you say so...... -
To us common folk $25,000 is something we'll gladly take.

Whatever man, you missed my point. I pay more attention to getting thru my days safely and efficiently as possible. I sure wasn't given jack at my last company when I flipped the odometer with them. Whatever, I wasn't in it for the recognition, I was there to earn a check.
If they would've offered me a bonus, sure I would'a gladly accepted it. But I sure wasn't using that as my decision where to apply.....
