Mid America Truck Show, is it worth it to go?

Google Map the exhibition site so you can view the hotels that are within walking distance. Make sure to pre-register for all 3 days .

 

Some nice stuff inside, but make sure you find your way outside too….

 

That suicide door 379 is sick

 

There’s some fine rides to look at, the one thing that kills my interest in a truck of this caliber, is walking up and seeing paint on the belts on the engine, just turns me off royally! Can’t believe anyone would sink that much $$ in a nice paint job then do a slouchy job on the engine, that’s just me though, maybe I’m being to harsh….?

 

How the heck do they haul gravel with a stretched and low truck like that?

 

Honestly, that black 379 makes my heart go bump much more than the ultra tricked out rides.

 

I'd start calling hotels now to see if any are available for those dates. From what I've heard, all of the close hotels get booked up a year in advance for the show. I suppose if your flying in and renting a car it wouldn't be much of a problem finding a hotel a little further out...
