Hello i am currently going threw the michigan works process in Detroit Michigan im just curious about how The process works do they give u a voucher to give to the school? Or do they send a check? What happens if you dont complete training? Do the school have to give the money back in a certain time period?

The check is sent directly to the School (Trainco?) No refunds after 3 days. You will not get the refund sent to you if you quit before 3 days. It goes right back to the state.

I went to Trainco in Taylor. Great School, Good teachers. It's no cake walk. First lesson is to have patience with yourself, and don't get frustrated. The more you practice the easier it gets. I don't know American Truck Driving School. Communicate with your instructor and don't be afraid to ask questions. I found that even when nothing made sense to me, the instructor is there to see you succeed. Waiting outside the truck in the elements (I did it in Jan and Feb) is part of the training.
