How long do they last? I dont go to Michigan much but I had a customer who needed a 44k machine moved and me and this customer had this conversation about moving the load a few weeks ago. Well since then the frost laws have taken into effect.

From what I read they start in the southern part of the state and move north. They also lift in the same order.
I was picking up in Troy.

Im just trying to give them an approximate date I can pick it up.

Maybe have the customer go drive the route to 75 both directions and look for weight restriction signs. I would be careful in Oakland county for sure.

Thank you @buzzarddriver ..... ive read through that yesterday and its kinda confusing.

I know certain roads(I believe just the interstates) aren't really affected.

Yeah I know id be good on I75, issue is Id be about 14ft high as the machine im picking up is 13'1 on the ground.

And being that high, Id have to find my own overheight route of out Michigan. I know one from previous runs however, its not on any of the interstates.

That 14’ tall might be an issue especially in Detroit. Don’t quote me on that though. I know 23 has a 13’9” somewhere.
