Sorry if it's been asked and answered. Anybody try it? Any stories? Dosage, size of user. On hometime right now and don't want to waste my little bit of beer time experimenting. Just tired of getting #####ed at for turning down 11pm live loads when I've delivered at 7am same day after 8 hrs of sleep.

I take it since wife and I drive team. I take a 5 mg tablet or a tablet and a half. Puts me to sleep within ten minutes. Take it if you know you can sleep for 8 hours. Otherwise, you could wake up to a headache since your body wants to sleep.

It's great for those who have trouble sleeping in a moving truck.

6 mg when I can't sleep. Works great, and won't leave you drowsy like diphenhydramine does...

Used to take melatonin. You will develop tolerance to it and doesn't work so good after awhile. If your struggling to get good sleep I recommend this breathing technique. Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds, then exhale through mouth for 8 seconds. It helps to relax the body and mind to fall asleep. It works great for me.

You can also try "L-tryptophan" its an amino acid. Basically increases production of serotonin in the brain. Increases positive mood, better sleep. Do research though. Definitely consult your doctor first, I don't know if you have any underlying medical conditions.

I use the 3 and the 5 mg. both help me to nod off if I'm not really tired.
DOT legal as our bodies produce it.

sometimes after drinking all afternoon, I'll take one and it gives me the best dreams ever. Me like.

I took ambien. Stay away from that.

Now I have a 4 inch foam topper on my mattress. I bought it at Overstocked.com. I am sure others have them. Change your mattress before you try drugs. JMHO

Melatonin would only help me to fall asleep, after about 1.5 hrs I would wake. Never had any side-effects from it whatsoever, never drowsy, never required 8hrs sleep. It is rather innocuous in my experience. I stopped taking it years ago.

After adopting meditation as a practice I have no difficulty falling asleep and staying that way, learning to relax the mind and body is the ultimate.

Not all of us "relax" everyday. Close, but not every day

I didn't care for it. Wouldn't stay asleep in my case, felt drowsy after I had taken, but then again I didn't sleep no 8 hours when I took it!
