This is my opinion guys, so lay off the hate...

If a school pushes any of these two companies (May Trucking or CR England), your school is most likely not a good one. These companies have very poor standards. When you call it seems like they are very legit about training requirements, but when it comes down to it, they take anyone who breathes and drives. Buyer beware.

Now that has to be the biggest sig line I have ever seen!

But seriously, when it was time for me to leave my training company (Stevens) for a real job I had to rule May out after watching their drivers try to sleep in the break room at the shippers (In easter WA in the summer, was over 100) because the truck was too hot to sit in and they couldnt idle to run the AC. Instead I went with a company that has APU's on their equipment.

Having said that May has good drivers, and from what I have heard will make you money if you can find the miles to run at 61 mph.

i hear very good things about may trucking.

i have heard that death by hanging is more pleasurable than employment at CR England.

If you are going to post things about companies i suggest you get
all of the facts first. May does have a idle policy so if drivers were in lounge
it was for other reasons. I went with a Cadillac company and could not be happier
All companies have issues it is the nature of the beast.
All of our trucks have Apus 1800 watt inverters and all the miles you need.
Home time is never a problem. You want a good company check out Gordon Trucking.

I drove for May and I really Disliked it. I averaged 7 hour wait times at Docks with no detention. I was constantly told to run illegal and they never wanted to fix thing on the road. Sure, lets bring a tire with steel core hanging out of it 2 states over to a terminal so they can fix it instead over calling a service truck or going to the TA 10 miles away. Oh, here's a Nursery load that you'll be sitting on for almost a week and a half, and oh by the way, since you have to only tail gate it, We aren't going to pay you for any of the 15 unloads. but you will get $10 per stop :) Have a nice day <3

I did have a great running Truck though, but they would only fix what was needed to keep the truck running. I had the AC go out in july and they refused to fix it. But if My reefer so much as burped, then I had a shop preplanned for me by the time I out the quallcomm back on the floor. They are a smaller carrier so there is more Personal interaction and most of the people are nice. I just really disliked how I could work 70 hours a week and gross $600.
