It depends - How many axles? How much does the van weigh empty? Day cab or sleeper tractor?
What is the weight of the tractor and trailer empty (tare weight)?

Floor to ceiling and nose to back door...........if not overweight. Good rule of thumb is 45K. The problem is getting it "legal" if you load more weight. As in, weighing it, sliding axles or even going back to shipper for him to re-arrange the pallets, and then re-weighing, which you aren't getting paid for ! Knowledge test......how would you load 11 pallets weighing 4000 lbs each ?

Gross weight is usually what most go by. In most cases if a tractor's weight is 16,000 lbs whiles the trailer is 16,000 lbs empty the Max weight for the load (Max Weight 80,000 lbs) is the Gross minus the Empty weight is Tractor & Trailer Ex. (32,000 lbs therefore 80,000 lbs minus 32,000 lbs = 48,000 lbs for the Max load). However, that is with a tandem Tractor & tandem Trailer so a single Axle is obviously a different weight and load Maximum (20,000 lbs on a single axle rare) 34,000 lbs on a tandem drives & rears whiles steers is 12,000 lbs totalling 80,000 lbs. It also depends on what State (Usa) or Province (Canada) your running in regarding Max Weight limits varying from axle spread including bridges. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Bridge_Gross_Weight_FormulaOntario, Canada has a higher tandem weight limit 39,680 lbs (18,000 kg)

As per Strick's spec sheet, 53 footers are 65k GVWR and ~4,000ft³ interior volume with a 14.5k-15.5k tare weight.

    Without overthinking it 45,000 lbs.

Most all van loads are 44k or below.

Over load them too much in the middle, they’ll break in half. I’ve seen it happen twice, with new Wabash Trailers. Beer loads out of Milwaukee, on US 41, Seems everyone wants to belly load them, makes Me nervous sometimes. They’re basically frameless. Only side rails, and crossmembers, and a wooden floor. I’ve seen notices on the insides, suggesting trailer not be loaded past a certain point, if over a certain weight. I imagine if the axles moved too far back, it puts too much stress on the floor. Maybe just a rule of thumb, for bridge laws. Maybe someone can clarify better.

? Maybe you read it wrong? I’d load them single straight down the middle. I’d also set my axle, so the mudflaps or rear of tandems were even with the rear of the last pallet, and not bother to scale it.
