What type of mattress gives the best ride in a moving truck? A while back I read on this sight memory foam is the best. It makes sense, but I've heard it gets hot. I want to gather a few more opinions before I purchase. Also, Do you stack more than one mattress? Are they all the same general size (Twin, Double)? How thick is best to purchase? We know sleeping in a truck may be challenging. We are trying to be as prepared as we can. We already own a body length pillow to put against the net.

i purchased my memory foam mattress from amazon, was only $80... the one you would need would be a twin xl (extra long).. twins would be fine but they are like a foot and a half shorter.

I use a sealy posturepedic, expensive, consider how much time your going to send there, and when do you want tto buy another one, mine is currently back in the house waiting for the next truck. 3 years old and still very comfy.

I love my big dawg from sleep dog. They have a few models...a 2 inch memory foam topper, an 8 inch memory foam mattress or the big dawg which is 8 inch memory foam with 2 inch bamboo topper. They are kinda pricy, but i cant wait to get back to my comfy truck bed when at home now. As for ride while rolling....It does a lot better then a sping mattress.

Is that the same sealy posturepedic used in bedrooms? I sleep on one in my home... That is like the most comfortable bed, ever.

Make sure you get the Twin Extra Long, As they will cite you for not having a properly fitted Mattress if you are pulled in, I know a guy that had a inflatable air mattress it was long enough for him to sleep on fully stretched out and he got cited because it was shorter then the sleeper area. Good Luck with the teaming thing, I have no desire to team for any amount of money.
