Dont forget we are also unskilled.
Yet a desk jockey can earn the same or more for answering the phone.

 

I have a feeling she was checking those glasses for old style Google Cameras that used to be part of a frame. I think they got rid of those some years ago.

Never mind those tests that you passed but yet failed. Walk away. Get into something else.

If things get more complicated I'll go back to the brood horse farm to simplify everything in life. This horse, that horse, client fee and wait a while. New horse born. Raise it. Repeat.

 

A friend of mine makes more than most of us. Working at CAT production in Illinois paid $20 hour to start.

 

$23.82/hr plus a safety bonus of about $1 times 12 is just about $300 per shift. That’s not bad for a new hire.

 

MPC also has a good 401k and a pension. Guys with a few years in making over 90k.It’s a good company to work for if you can tolerate all the babysitting and corporate bull-####.

And the Tesoro refinery here in ND.

 

I hauled a lot of oil for them. Stickers about safety, but they had nice lease roads to drive.
