Been having an issue with Mack door latchs and doors locking drivers out because of failing latches. Does anybody know the correct procedure for removing the tumblers from the ignition switch? I thought it was accessory, push a pin in, and twist the key to the off position. 3 this week and no luck, ended up drilling out one set of tumblers. Is there a better lubricant to lube the latches with? I've had to chase newer CH's for drivers being stuck in the cabs due to latches failing and autolocking the doors or when the driver hops out with the key in the ignition.

    Thanks!

Use graphite in Houston. Ig tumblers easy on y2k CH and door latches too. Dunno if their the same as later years.

Also put a hide a key under my cab...... for days when stupid follows me to work.
