You need to realize that "safety related" covers a lot of issues. Safety related means in this case and from the limited information that you have provided that in their opinion after observation, training and whatever it was, that you present a risk that they do not want to be responsible for going forward. For most drivers its usually something that has caused damage, and that if egregious can cause risk and potential damage to the company. This is also something that if they need a driver who is competent in some areas and the driver proves themselves to NOT be competent, it creates the risk or costs of continued training (instead of creating revenue) to the company.

Not knowing what the company termed you for specifically, you cannot really make that statement. The companies will almost always refer to the reports rather than the potential employee... because they have literally seen thousands of these reports and they are almost always true. Are they bad reports? Sure. Are there drivers who have caused a lot of damage and costs to companies? More true that you'll probably ever know.
You didn't state how much real world experience you have in a truck, but right now, you are going to have to go to a non-DAC company and must really be careful because a lot of the non-DAC outfits are lining up VICTIMS to be used and abused because they know that a lot of drivers seeking them out are not hirable in a lot of cases. Good Luck

Absolutely.. I applied, they accepted, I quit a local job.. and they bussed me down to TX.. I got through EVERYTHING.. then at the end of the last day they told me that I didn't qualify (Back then it was a common tactic.. if you weren't experienced in living in a truck in a truck stop... you weren't a truck driver). Needless to say at that point I already had 25 or more years of accident and ticket driving, training etc etc.

I trained with them ( Mabe trucking ) for about 7 also had two weeks local training. I never got the back up but about 3 times with my over the road trainer because my Trainer decided that she wanted to do all the backing so then when I go to local training, my local trainer was helping me with backing. It just took me a little bit longer than normal because I kept getting out to watch to make sure I wasn’t gonna hit anything which I never hit anything. It just took me a while to back up and even when they tested me, I backed in the spot that they asked me to back and they just said that when you go to the spots, these companies are not gonna want you out there trying to back up and taking too long and so they said they couldn’t afford to train me anymore so they were gonna have to let me go then they put on my dac report safety issues. They were only company that I work for .
