Yeah no point in keeping steels always rusting over.

The chrome ones will rust. Didn't think stainless would.

The best chrome plastic ones for the Steers I found are the ones the screw on to the studs of the wheel that you need a plastic lug tool to unscrew it.

I have a chrome plastic nut cover with hub cover set for the Steer axle made by Alcoa that I've had on my truck for 12 years and they're still attached on there and still look good, never rusted ever or fallen off.

They're a little pricey, but for as long as I've had them, they already paid for themselves already.

All of the ones I see just go over the top of your lug nuts…..never seen screw on ones!!

Why do you need screw on? I never had a problem losing them. I mean you might lose one onces in blue.

The screw on ones from Alcoa for the Steer Axle interlock with the Chrome Hub Cover so they both work in conjunction with each other.

They also sell Chrome Plastic ones that have metal spring clamps inside that hold onto the wheel nut under tension so they don't fall off. I use those on my Drives. They are still on there after 12 years.

If you go to www.empirechromeshop.com you'll get an idea what I'm talking about.
