255/70/22.5, a lot of car haulers run them, they have about a 36" overall diameter. i have them on my step deck, very good tires to be so small.

Some people say my truck looks lowered a little.. I have regular 11R x 24.5 drives and lo pro steers.. It's a bit lower, any more and I couldn't use it as a working truck and do anything without tearing up the bumper...
-
I run a car hauler..379 Pete extended hood. I ordered it from the factory with the "car hauler axle"...a front axle with a built in drop of around 5". Also deleted the blocks. If you can find a car hauler at a junk yard somewhere, check it out. Many times they are ordered with this axle.
Also...the guy above is correct on the bump steer. When you alter the height of the axle (remove blocks, etc), you will need to have some alignment issues checked. According to how much you lower, driveline issues can result too. -
If you lower the front you'll have driveline problems with anything but the Pete Low Low Air ride in the rear... IIRC.

Are you saying that you have adjustment issues with your 5" drop with the blocks omited, or are you saying that removing the factory blocks on a stock set up axle causes the problem?
I am looking to order a 389 with the 5" drop and the blocks omited, but if this is a problem, would you suggest the 5" drop with the blocks left in?
Thanks. -
Hey Mr George...No problem if you get the factory to do it. They will (or they should) set everything as it should be. Rear axles will be shimmed to the front end you order, driveline angles, etc. On the bump steer I was talking about, was on an older model in the day when we tried to drop 'em down for height purposes on these car haulers. If you try to order some components that may not work well together, i.e. various rear suspensions, etc...they'll let you know before it's a problem.
