I recently purchased 8 new drive tires size 11R22.5. My steers are 295/75R22.5. Just wondering if I should have gone with low profile on the drives also. Needed tires bad and got a good deal on the set but I'm wondering if I should have the 11Rs all around. Thanks.

11r22"5 is about 1055mm , LP is about 1001~. 1.3" inch . Though many will tell u that u should't i ,don't see a problem. But be careful not to over load the steer axle

hunter1662 Thanks this.

You will be perfectly fine being ALL drives are 11r's. Run the steers and put 11r's on when need to change them. Over loading the front axle? That won't matter even in the slightest and if you don't mind traveling a whole big huge 1 mph more than what your speedometer is saying your traveling, I wouldn't even think twice about touching the speedo.

It won't hurt a thing, I would keep running the L/P's on the front. You can have 2 11r's side by side and have a different height, it depends on the tread design and tire manufacturer. Today I had a Double Coin 11R next to a Dunlop 11R and there was 3/4" difference. Like JordanJay31 said it only amounts to 1mph or so.

Thanks for the replies. I had the speedo reset today, back to normal.

prolly closer to 5mph

It was initially 3 mph slower. I took it to a CAT shop and they adjusted it so it is where it's supposed to be.

and 50 RPM lower at the same speed
