Im looking into buying some equipment that will need to be loaded on a Low Boy RGN nothing over 45,000 lbs or over height.
    Chicago area to Houston
    Chicago to El Paso

There are a couple other possible pick up locations all coming to or threw the Chicago area if anyone can get some general rates Id appericate it. This equipment will be moved in about 3weeks there is no rush

Bulldozer, back hoe, man lift, front end loader

I dont have a MC any more just a ICC so cant leave Illinois

If the equipment you are hauling is your own equipment you don't need a MC number. The ICC hasn't been around since 1995.

Illinois has a ILCC# you do not need a DOT# and do not fall under the DOT rules. Its a little different then other states, even if its my equipment I dont have apportioned plates no IFTA and the equipment is not titled in my name.

Not at the monument, I had a otr driver screw up my insurance so I cancelled my MC 16,000 a year for one truck was to much plus got a fine from FMCSA. So I had the wife get a ILCC# (I run 3 dumps) Im picking up a lowboy RGN in a week or two then activating our DOT and MC. Ive been calling on loads at Freight Finder and getting rates for OTR RGN work 3-5 per mile OWD up to 65000 lbs and 115-135 an hour around me for local work Chicago area. Just trying to get a handle on the permits right now. My drivers dont get them company we move equipment for gets them. Looking at a Talbert 50ton or Fontane 50 ton both trailers are pretty identical.
