So I've generally read that TA/Petro has the best fuel, with Loves usually right behind. Just wondering if anyone can give some more input. My TVC fuel card usually gives me TA at 5 cents a gallon cheaper than Love's, but I like Love's rewards program and the points usually make it about even. I'm just thinking if the fuel really is better it may be good to go with TA. One thing I think of is the age of the facilities. TA locations tend to be much older and that makes me wonder about the condition of the tanks and lines and whether they get water etc. Thanks.

Lots of cards out there, find the one with the best discounts for your operating area. It is all the same. You can do way better than a nickel off from ta. Search forums here, NASTC is a popular choice. Try an average of 0.40+ off cash price sometimes a lot more than that.

It depends on location. It's all the same fuel that comes out of the same tanks at the refinery.
So everyone in Dallas is the same, as is everyone in Chicago, but Dallas and Chicago might be different quality.

Mostly same fuel in a area, but sometimes Loves goes high on the biodiesel blends.
Biodiesel is added to the tanker at a separate rack , mot from the refinery.

Around this area, Loves gets a lot of their fuel from Future Fuels which deal in biodiesel.

    Siinman Thanks this.

I hope you’re getting a good discount with that card. Hopefully it beats mine today. 367E9870-9AB2-4CC3-AABB-E90784F7CF9E.png

You’re probably paying way too much for fuel and should compare it to what nastc members are paying at TA/Petro. Find a TA or Petro location and post the price per gallon with your discount.. and post the location. I’ll follow up with what I pay.

Loves, Pilot/FJ I wasn’t able to get any significant discounts for fuel..

And yes, the majority of TA/Petro’s are old but there are quite a few really nice ones out there..

I’ve never had a problem with their fuel in the 4 years I’ve been fueling there.
