    KAG Acquires Carbon Express

I never knew Carbon Express out of Jersey sold out. One of their old trucks passed me on RT 22 with "KAG" on the door. I talked to a lot of their drivers while under racks and every one of them was happy. Pay was good and they stayed in hotels. Hopefully it all worked out for them

I can’t imagine the conglomerate of companies KAG has. Even just the ones I know about. Just like you experienced how many have been gobbled up that we don’t realize? There was a company years back in Kansas buying up all the rock quarries, and either the state stepped in or the Feds and put an end to that saying they couldn’t acquire anymore as they were creating a monopoly. I can’t help but wonder if KAG is heading that way as well. But I don’t know #### about #### maybe what they’re doing is altogether different.

I always thought Steve Rush was 'good people' and he ran a good company and must see something 'OK' in joining KAG.

KAG will never have a monolopy unless Ron Dana sells his pile of purchased tank lines to them.

KAG is definitely growing in Canada but they’re cheap. I wouldn’t run for them.

I didnt know Carbon had sold to them. there was a trucking facebook group, that a Carbon express recruiter was always talking about the company and how they would have handled a situation that an original poster had presented. I was impressed by alot of his answers. I didn't like the Hotel thing. But I dont sleep good in hotels.

Aren't they owned by someone affiliated with the WEF?

Kag is a plague upon the universe.

They will try to buy into a market and if no one will sell they will just move in and cut rates to nothing.

Their rates for leased owners operators is horrible ……. And this was about 3 years ago when things were good. Can’t imagine now

I noticed KAG also acquired Idaho Milk Transport not too long ago. Started seeing some foodgrade tankers with the KAG logo out here at the Aurora organic in Platteville. And I thought they were just fuel and chemicals.

Of course Kimrad out of Amarillo also started doing foodgrade as well. Supposedly acquired D&H out of Portales.
