Swift has a big terminal in SW Dallas they are always hiring.

 

Refrigerated terminal there also. Nice trucks also. I've seen them running through Las Vegas.

Any time I’ve been in that area. Every warehouse and cold storage facility has signs they’re hiring drivers. Seems easy to find a driving job? Especially half way between Dallas and Fort Worth.
Indeed didn’t do diddily for me. I have good luck with Craigslist.

 

kllm/ffe out of Lancaster; pretty sure Texas regional is full, but they have other opportunities.

 

Hauling mail isn't the job it used to be.
But you can do a lot worse.

Edit: I would go ahead and apply online with Old Dominion, R and L, Estes, FedEx..anyone of those LTL companies would be a good gig, and better than mail hauling.

 

McElroy is a bit south of Dallas in Alma TX. It's is a flatbed company. I know a couple of people working there and they are treated well. You didn't mention it, but one of them has a felony.
