Go into the store and buy a new one. Return the old one and say its defective and you get your money back.

Before anyone gripes and trys to say its a ripoff of sorts.....They will send it back and it will be refurbished and re packaged. Its the sane as sending in for a warranty for defective product.

FYI According to the the manufacturer, the battery for the B250-XT is not replaceable.

B250 battery will not work in the XT model

Also, if it's been over a year, you cannot send it in for replacement. They only carry a 1yr warranty. Just had to replace hubby's, it was a year and 3 months old. I think that a low battery and the cold killed it. :biggrin_2556:

IMO the Blue Parrots are junk. But, if you must do a search on eBay for a replacement battery.

Simple solution so I will repeat myself.

Go to store.. buy new one. Put old one in package. Return item..

    Downtime >>>>> 10 minutes.

I apologize your headset is no longer functioning. The B250XT headset battery is not a saleable part and can only be serviced at the manufacturer. If the headset is in warranty or out of warranty please call us at 1-800-742-8588 for an RA # to have the headset replaced.

We do offer an out of warranty exchange on headsets that are no longer in warranty for $55.00 plus shipping. We then give you a 6 month warranty on the exchange headset. Please call or email me with your address and phone number if you would like an RA#.

    Thank you

I know E-Bay shows one. But, as with the I-Pod they say the battery is not replaceable but you can get one.

Well, then I'm going to try that, and he will have two of them. I'll order the battery and see what happens. Interesting. Of course the company wants you to just buy another one.

True, but I agree with okimar. I contacted Apple and they could not replace the battery in the I-Pod. I did not feel like spending another couple of hundred of dollars for another one. I Google'd and found a repair kit with a battery and a tool to open the I-Pod. Still runs great after 2 years.

But this I find interesting.. something Blue Parrot did not say anything about...

These batteries are the new batteries in the unopened factory package and are just in from the new overseas supplier that VXi changed to in the 3rd quarter of 2011.
The reason VXi changed their suppliers was because they had quality control issues related to the service life of the old batteries.
The easiest way to identify the old batteries is by the monofilament tape they are wrapped in in the final stage of production.
