!!!looking for private and or commercial truck to rent for cdl test in san diego!!!

    Is there anyone out there that knows someone that willl rent a truck to me so i can take my cdl test?
    I have more then six years experience driving class a with general dynamics, but downgraded my license to c for personal reasons last year. It was a breeze passing written, but having problems finding someone locally that rents for cdl test!

    Are you sure you need to take the test again. Had someone that I was working with drop his class A for over a year, went back to take the written tests again, and half way thru his test they told him to stop, and just reissued the license after he paid the fees.

    Contact smaller tractor trailer training schools. They will usually oblige for a couple of hundred bucks, and give you a trainer to drive to and from.

    There used to be a guy who rented a day cab/ short flatbed at San Bernadino CMV DMV office. I think he charged $200 which allowed you an hour to get familiar and then the DMV road test. I would call the local CMV test offices in San Diego and see if they can point you in the right direction.
