Boasso global bought them out, was having big sign on bonus out of Pasadena/Channelview, the got daycabs and sleepers, out and back runs.
I worked for Boasso (Boss So) for 4.5 years, not bad for company trucks, bad for O/O, reason I left, company trucks dispatched ahead of O/O, even if you was 8 hours ahead of comoany truck. Did 2 years company driver 2.5 as O/OJust passing by Thanks this. -

What are you doing at Crete with all endorsements go to an ltl and make 100 grand a year.

As for local work there are several companies hiring in Houston right now. But most not all of these companies are the ones that cant keep drivers because of various reasons. Like low pay, micro management, driver facing cameras & etc.
Air Products is a decent place but they only hire teams now because none of there local drivers would dare leave there. Try suez in Baytown they have an opening. It's a simple job hauling water filters into different plants then drop and hook and go.
The other cryogenic companies like
Airgas
Messer
Praxair
Matheson
Are all hiring but I wouldn't recommend them at all.
There are several bulk tanker companies with openings. But they call out to Midland and back local.
Research indeed and check the reviews on a place before applying. Like I said alot of these places that are hiring cant keep drivers for various reasons. Central freight has been hiring all year but people get hired on and quit within a month. Because it's a crap company. So be very careful in your selection!!!Just passing by Thanks this. -
Houston has a lot of out/back tanker jobs that get you home a few nights a week and every weekend. You can stay out longer and run the system if you want to though.
You have to look locally, and it’s worth checking in with Texas Workforce. Hard time of year to sign on LTL, but refinery and chemicals are steady work.rachi and Just passing by Thank this. -
Have you checked with Crete on dedicated regional? Supposedly walking all over OTR. I’m doing that. They get me home for my 34 every week. Even more.
Doing wallyworld account.rachi Thanks this. -
