I have a Tuesday morning delivery on the southeast side of the Nashville area, off exit 62 on I-24. I’ll be getting to Nashville Monday afternoon. I see there’s a TA there, mostly paid parking ($22!!!), and a smaller Thornton’s across the street.

Anybody have a good alternative place to park nearby?

You coming from east or west on 24? Murfreesboro has a decent amount of industrial areas that have truck parking. You'd be fine as long as you don't leave it unattended.

    There's a nice Love's on exit 89

There's a convenience store with a dirt lot in Murfreesboro that has parking for 10/day. Plenty of things in walking distance. I think exit 81

I’m coming from the west on I-40, then down I-24. I’ll check out that Love’s, thanks!

I would reserve at the TA and pay the $22. That way you are assured a spot and very close to your delivery.

That loves is almost 30 miles more and 30 back to exit 62. You should be fine getting a spot at the TA that time of day. Even if you paid for the TA reserved parking it’ll be a wash with the additional fuel costs of going to that loves.

I’ve stayed at that Loves once and found the parking to be tight and a challenge for the unskilled drivers. I didn’t really sleep well afraid someone would rip my hood off.

I’ve never stayed at the TA because to me it’s a complete dump..just fuel and go. There’s also a nice Blue Beacon at the 62 exit also.

I really hate spending that much. I’ll try to get there early enough to get one of the free spaces, and if there aren’t any, go a half hour down the road to Love’s.

    Concorde Thanks this.

You should be fine late morning / early afternoon. Most will be out making deliveries and what not. Keep in mind that at night it becomes a complete cluster. Pick a spot that you’ll be able to get out of in the morning.

There is a new QT at the 172 in Dickson with parking. Right next to a Colton's steakhouse. Hit 840 to 24 then.

The Walmart in Murfreesboro I-24 exit 78 allows truck parking out front by the Murphy Express gas station. Reserve a spot at the TA NOW. That arear is dense with industrial customers so truck parking isn't very easy to find unless someone in the thread as something closer than I-24 x78

I wouldn't pull off the interstate to go to that Walmart in our grocery getter 4 wheeler. That's one of the most cluster #### parts of Murfreesboro all around that particular Walmart the roads, red-light and everything lol
