I run to Houston five nights a week.
Containers, tankers, and LTL's everywhere most nights. (Port of Houston & Petrochemical Capital of the World).

 

Can try Pilot. Supervisor is at Red Bluff and 225 early mornings. To help or assist new guys. Can talk to him.

 

A question for the experienced. How crucial is it to pick what you want early on and start getting your experience? If i primarily want line haul LTL/regional or local position, should that be my focus, or OTR is typically where most start anyway?
It seems i can go OTR w/ a mega at any time, but I just don't want to be fit into an OTR box as OTR is not in my long term plans.
