I hope sage is good as I am going there on aug 1st good luck to you
kraziklown Thanks this. -
Cool. I live Lexington (in fact 2 miles away from the SAGE school) and I was goin to post the samething as the OP. Do your research before you deside what school.
Due to a promise I can not go until the mid of Jan. If I can get the money (4100) I would love to go to SAGE but right now it looks like I will go to SWIFT. -

Looks like someone dug up an old post,,,lol -
Kraziklown, what's up? i to am from sc and trying to find a school in
the area, keep us posted and let me know what you find. Thanks old man in the woods -
I would tell all of you who are looking for a good trucking school to skip Sage. They are a rip-off. Old equipment, lousey instructors and recruiters who double as the classroom Instructors. Their trucks don't have air and are barely road worthy. They talk a good game; but ask about their CDL test passage rate and how many are waiting to be re-tested. That should answer your questions and cause you to look farther afield for a good school. $43,000 is a lot of money. Spend it wisely.

Thanks for your feedback on trucking school I think I'm going with swift trucking, they seem to have good reviews and they have a terminal here in greer sc.
stay safe and have a good day -
I am attending the school now and find them to be decent, as good as any other, and I have been to roadmaster to, yes they have older equipment, but what do you expect, they are new students and we are all gear jammers, so why buy new. just wondering if you have been a trucker for 24 years how do you know what sage is like? and if you paid 43000 then i agree you paid to much

I am going prime or MTI.

I am looking for a South Carolina school too. I think I'll go and look Sage over but am far from deciding yet.
Glad to see this post.
