Where on the East Coast is home?

I know quite a few decent flatbed outfits that run the East, but some carriers are a better fit than others, deoending on your location.

I'm sure no matter what company i go with I'll have to go through training because i only have 7 months otr and no flatbed experience that counts so that wouldn't be a problem. Thanks in advance.

There's several flatbed that "try" to get drivers home on weekends:
    Jordan Carriers
    McElroy
    Maverick Transportation
    Decker Truck Line

Tennant isn't Tennant anymore, it's Omni

OK, didn't know that. Is it still owned by Trekker? Guess I can look that up though.
Check Daseke Inc. website. Daseke owns several flatbed companies. Bulldog Hiway Express is one of them and only need 6 mos. driving experience.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly who owns what. I know Tennant merged with Henderson and then Omni bought the open deck side of Tennant. I think Omni is a separate entity now, but not sure how that all worked itself out in the multi company deal.

Builder's Transportation out of Memphis, TN. They do a fair amount of hauling in and out of WV and VA. Could go to Roanoke, VA or up to Huntingdon, WV to head out. Plus, they have an office in Pittsburgh, PA that runs a boatload of US Steel. Good outfit overall. I was with them for close to three years, became a very spoiled driver.
