Where does one find a Longer Winch Bar?
The longest ones i've been able to find online are 39.5" long....most are 34-36" long.
I'd like to find a 48" one.
Any Idea's?

AT, get you a piece of pipe and weld it to the one you have know. I did that to one of mine, got a two feet piece of pipe that would barley slide over the bar and welded it to it. Worked perfect and was cheap.

How long is it? and that attaches to the end of a regular winch bar?

Just remember you buy a long one and lose it..... Gonna need a knife or a fat guy to get your straps off.

I keep a spare winch bar in 1 of my boxes and my binder pipe fits over my winch bar. Best of both worlds.

I use some thing similar, I slide one of my pipe stakes over the winch bar whenever I need help.

Ancra states that 4" strap is properly tightened with 100lb/ft at the end of a 34" winch pipe.
So accordingly, if you lift yourself off of the ground tightening these winches they are over tightened unless you are a 98 lb weakling.
A 48" bar is overkill.kwloo and Mommas_money_maker Thank this. -
