I usually wouldn't do this but i wanted to take the time just encase someone else is thinking of making this colossal mistake. Having been a owner operator for 20+ years I decided that it was time to stay a bit more local/regional in the North East where I live. I will admit I fell for the recruiter line, but this was more than that. I was hired in two days which should have scared me but I went with it anyway. I was issued a truck that have well over 500k on it. They were very happy with their equipment. I was told it was detailed, it was filthy inside and still had the same mattress that came with the truck in 2011. In the dead of winter it had no heat in the front or the sleeper. It had been inspected, both the front shocks were blown so badly that the leaf springs were soaked in oil. The drivers seat was so loose that every time I tried to clutch I had to hold on to the door to keep from falling out. I was told, and again yes I know I fell for the story line, that there would be 2k miles a week. I was lucky to see 1500-. Now this isn't much of a difference but in the long run $$ we aren't out here to work for free or sit around. I was assigned to a Fleet manager that had 4months of experience. Did not know the region at all. I did have the truck fixed and did go out. three days later I was towed in with a blown compressor that they knew was a problem. I was fixed, Towed in four days later, Bad Batteries, Fixed, Towed again, Check engine, DPF Failure. This is all within a month.
I decided to bring this to the attention of the upper management whom wouldn't know how to move a truck if it was parked on their foot. I was told that this was truck driving. Now if you have been out here for more than a month you know that this is the biggest cop-out in the industry. They decided to switch my truck and then asked me to try again. I agreed against my better judgement, I gave them another chance. Two days out, the heat in the truck, including the ESPAR was dead. I paid out of pocket for a hotel because I could'nt get another inexperienced dispatcher to make a decision. They have no type of Breakdown/Road assist department ect.

In 20 years of company/lease/Owner operator driving this was by far the worst company I have ever worked for. They claim to want Solid experienced professionals, but they treat you as though your a rookie that should be happy that they took you on. IF this helps one Driver stay away and not go through what I did then it was worth taking the time to put this here. Drivers, Don't walk away, Don't Run, Just don't Go

Pretty detailed post...sounds like a fair warning of what to watch out for should you come across this company.

Sad to hear, see them around often and wouldn't have imagined there trucks are that bad. I know the pay isn't anything extravagant. Maybe they will fix it with another name change
