log book for laptop

Paper is sold at every truck stop.

 

I remember a program I looked at but decided against because I could not work out a small problem with scanning my logs. I am not sure but you might want to check out this thread.

I been using eclipse for 4 years , love it

 

used Drivers Daily Log for 6 years and loved it...... remember if you run a log book on a laptop you are REQUIRED to have a printer in your truck

 

A tablet version is a lot more convenient than a full size laptop. I use an android tablet with the free Keep Truckin app and it works very well for me. No printer necessary.

If you don't need a printer for a log book on a tablet then why do you need one for a laptop?

 

Eclipse log book is the best of the best imo.
You can do that trial for 30 days free and then after that it'll be around 50$ buy out and it's yours forever. I highly recommend it.mewsy to use and no way of messing up. If you mess up it'll turn red and warn you.

 

It is law that if you are using an electronic log book on tablet, etc you must be able to print it for the dot if they ask,you to.

I got put out of service for 10 hour because I couldn't print mine out. And after my 10 ran out I had to continue from there to use paper until I had a way to print it.
