Just curious as I want to stay competitive, what are companies paying drivers in and around the Chicagoland area? Benefits?

I'd say the average I've seen is in the low$30 hr some pay OTafter 40
    I've seen $42hr OT after 8
Alot of them paying straight time only.
CPM seems to average 50-60 I've seem 75cpm. It's all over the place. Now you got alot of 1099 companies promising more but likely will not actually see it. Just be mindful of who you choose

Canary379, Digman943 and tscottme Thank this.

If it is a no touch freight/Non - Hazmat job $30 per hour plus benefits, paid vacation and bonuses
Touch freight or Haz-Mat gig the price point should start at $35.00 Per hour plus benefits, paid vacation and bonuses
