Do the local food and beverage and waste management type jobs check DAC?
I'm looking to start applying to these companies now that I have my 1 year complete.
I fear my current employer will put something on my DAC for retaliation for leaving/quitting.
Local companies and DAC

if you happen to live in an area where there are beverage companies NOT in any way connected to the above, then most likely no.JudahMourn Thanks this. -
A common misunderstanding of DAC.
Some companies only use it for verifying experience/past employment dates,
and pay little to no attention to all the other crap on it.
Some companies even view it as a waste of time.
Check your DAC often for errors, they make a ton of them,
especially if you have a common last name.JudahMourn Thanks this. -

Why do you think they would put stuff on there? Some times you may run into petty people who do petty stuff, but if you don't cause problems, and you get your truck back to the yard when you quit, the megas have better things to do than make up false info that could get them sued.

Poly Trucking doesn't put anything on your dac. Not sure if they review dac or not though before hiring.

One more thing about DAC. It is true a lot of small companies don't generally pull DACs but a drivers DAC file is available if requested. The company that maintains the DAC database is a business that makes money on every report they provide. If Outlaw trucking who operates 3 trucks has a doubt about a new hire they can go onto the DAC website and order an ad hoc report. It is easy and not that expensive. I have seen it done.
