well I just got pre approved for a truck from loan mountain. My lease is up next month looking forward to a smaller payment. What do I need to know about the switching process from SFI to my new truck.
Thanks in advance.

You did a one year lease right?

Truck will go through onboarding process. Qualcomm install, mechs will check it over etc.
Best to work through your ICA on this. Would assume you would keep the same one. They can facilitate.tazman74 Thanks this. -
There is a person in GB that handles that. She is very helpful and will guide you through it. You can get her name from your ICA or pm me. I would get in touch with her as soon as possible though. Don't wait till the last minute. The process is as Mickeyrat said.

Might be a good idea to look into an SBA loan at your bank. Rates are reasonable and a good bank will help you with the application process. Good luck!

The woman you need to work with in GB is named Raylene. Expect some difficulty getting everyone to communicate in a timely manner as you go through this process. I bought my first truck through Lone Mountain and it wasn't too bad, they know what they're doing. Depending on which of their locations you're picking up from, their hours might not line up real conveniently with GB, hence the phone tag begins. Since you're not getting your truck through Schneider Finance, you aren't at the real top of their priorities, or at least that's how it feels when you bring in an outside truck. I've done it twice, now. Still, you should be rolling within a week.

I hope it's sooner then a week. I plan on turning in my lease truck then getting a rental and going to get my new truck. I have been in contact with Raylene and she emailed me the paperwork that's needed.

I have good credit , in the 700's. Talked to my bank , talked to stoops Freightliner and others. They all want 10-20 percent down for a new truck owner plus 10-15% interest . It's a risky investment for them with a one truck owner . There are other threads on here where they break it down better , as far as the interest vs leasing . I'm happy with Lone Mountain. Payments are easy , price is fair and I can write off the lease payments
PolishPrince and big99gt Thank this.
