Ok I'm starting to run my own loads here in Illinois and an ad on a trailer caught my eye ...'loads@menards' followed by '1000's of flatbed and dryvan loads available on a weekly basis'. Anybody out there has or have had experience pulling for Menards? Do they pay reasonably?? I need info on the good and the bad and the weird with Menards. Thanks guys ...any info is well appreciated

menard's loads are cheap...I have called them few times and never book one because of low rates.

It's not the first time I've heard that about Menards. Their loads are like under $1.50 a mile right?

The ONLY loads that pay Very Good for menards are outside vendors material/goods coming into a DC

Which,Of Course Is difficult to do.

Sure,You can go to a menards DC with a truck- Pull their Dry Van to the stores, Or pull youtr Flatbed To Live load/unload- But its Very Very Low Pay......

Last Menards Load I did was Through an International Forwarder For Lumber They Buy from Overseas...When I Got to the DC in Plano,Il , Id see a dozen guys just sitting their waiting for loads to pull from their outbound dispatch.......

Their Trucks just idling away outside waiting for a load

    Not to Good

Everytime I've dropped a flat load at a menards DC they are slow to unload.

Can kinda tell they pay garbage by the tractors moving their loads, think container tractors look bad? Try driving by Plano and seeing a ductaped wonders they call trucks.

i looked into a job at menards, circa 2015. i inquired about a class a delivery job. starting pay was $13/hr. i’d say that gives a good idea what their loads pay.

    no thanks.

They just opened a new menards here in town and the in store positions pay 9.75/hour for part time and 11.75/hour for full time. This is the 2nd menards in this small town. Lots of workplace accidents, including one young lady who ended up paralyzed! Scary stuff.

All these reviews. Soundss like the only ones hauling their goods are mega fleets. An O/O with overhead of a loan wont be working smarter with Menards.
