I am about to be hauling hay into Minnesota. I am wondering how you attach your light bars to your trucks. I have a peterbilt with fiberglass top so cant just magnet it. I am thinking about making a extension come off my headache rack.

I made a light bar out of tubing that attaches to my headache, then mounted the light to rubber makes a better shock absorber

I made two stands that bolt to the top of my headache rack, they also have my load lights bolted below the light bars.

This is how I mounted mine. I used a 3 foot piece of aluminum flat bar, 1/4'' thick and 2 inches wide. Cut it to fit the main braces on the head ache rack, welded some small trusses in under it. Then mounted my strobe in the middle and work lights on each side. It works real good and was not very expensive
