Oh how I miss the bitter stale tone of this forum LOL.

I guess my problem is that I will fight for my right, and will fight off anything trying to put a point in my license.

I think its more sane to call off a driver that claims he/she has never received a ticket, never been pulled over, no violations, no inspections, accidents, incidents in the last 5 years. That’s so easy to lie about, just like how its so easy for some of us to cheat on a logbook. Your view point on scams is on par with my view point for drivers that lie about not experiencing those things.

The thing is, the more careful a driver goes for a long time, the more chance he is likely someone similar to the infamous Truck driver killer, Edward Surratt. I mean he murdered people in 1977-1978 and confessed 30 years later? What are the chances that some 10, 20, 30 year driver veteran is claiming to have 0 tickets and violations?

Do you know what’s extremely rare to see in the road? The guts to be honest.

Ok so I'll reciprocate @iceman32 here as agree that legal shield isn't necessarily a scam. I've had the program, it doesnt just pertain to protecting your cdl, it's kinda like having a lawyer on speed dial for anything that you might need legal assistance for. I am also personal friends with one of the sales agents. They do have a cdl specific plan, but the full plan also gets you significant discounts on legal fees assuming you use an attorney that is in their network. I had to use mine when my daughter was charged with disorderly conduct. $250 retainer was all I was charged, he got the case dismissed. The other time I sought advice on trying to recoup lost wages from one of my mistakes. $300 retainer for that guy, still waiting on the outcome on that.

Overall it's really not a scam, but you can almost do the same thing by having an attorney on retainer at all times. The one thing that it does do is they have attorneys in their network in every state, plus Canada that work both with trucking issues as well as non truck related issues.

Here’s my message to my fellow not so lucky drivers. Do you have a problem with spending 0.008% of what you make in 5 years??

    Also, please explain to me how 40 bucks a month is a scam. 5 years. 65/12= 5.4years x $60k= $325,000. 40 bucks a month x 65 months= $2600. $2600/$325,000= 0.008%.

They did their thing, and I did my thing. I’m on vacation lol.

It's because so many guys come on here and talked about how they paid $15 a week to truckers voice in court and they never got anything out of it, or tvc didn't help them at all

Thank you! For each of my case, it was 3 different lawyers from 3 different law firms and 3 different states. Never did these people ask for services charges like “you gotta pay $400 bucks because you talked to me for an hour now”.

And the other forums you foist this crap upon?

Hey how do they pay? Is it an hourly gig, some bonus if they use your code? Commission? Some click bait BS?

    Gotta be click bait.

There are thousands of drivers without tickets. It is called doing your job. But if your job is selling some BS phone list for lawyers probably hard to believe.

Again, it's not just to protect against tickets on your license, it's a full service attorney referral service that offers up discounted attorney services on lawyers that are used/ hired from their network.

Is it a scam, not really, cam you get a lawyer on your own sure, can you hire an attorney to defend you of some slack ### jerk claims you ran her off the road for less than $300 on your own, if so, by all means. My attorney costs me $500 in retainer

This dude thinks I work for legal shield, bwuahaha. I’m a driver baby. Plus Any people who have a background in sales know I would make a bad salesman. I mean If I was truly a salesman, I would have asked for referals and suggest plans, and provide contact numbers and I have yet to ask or provide those things.

Yeah doesn't mean there are not kickbacks. Has to be a reason to post that crud in more than one place.
