Any reference to 'take down' lights works well for work lights. Some lights have built in controllers or work with external, others might need an external controller only. These aren't cheap, but neither is Whalen.

 

Call customer service at whelen, federal, or any other manufacturer, any of them will custom build a light bar to your specs, if you are willing to pay.

Building a custom light set up in a exsisting housing is a little less exspensive than a total custom job, so find an exsisting light bar that will fit your requirements and have them change out lights as necessary for your tastes.

The guy that I bought my truck from, his steer car is a distributor for this company, and he has one of the Avatar light bars on his pickup, they are very bright and less than 1" tall. I am thinking about buying one of these for my truck. If you want his phone number send me a PM, he gave me some pretty good prices, these can also be controlled from your phone with their app.

Keep a lookout on Ebay, sometimes a nice used one pops up on there.

 

Those feniex lights are ridiculous bright... had another drivers steerman that was a dealer for them and had his van all decked out... I could make him out from 2+ miles away in the middle of the day...

 

They are priced very reasonable also, I think anyways.
