run I 20 to ft Worth then up US 287 to Limon,Co the I-70 west to I-270 to I-25 north to I-80 good running and the mountains in Wyoming are not all that bad, I would say it is the best route ,,hauled many over weight loads across that route,,

Don't see need to run any out of route miles--couple of pulls in Wy on 80--nothing devastating--most direct route and not a bad ridetootall2, Lepton1, Cranky Yankee and 1 other person Thank this. -

80 in Wyo. was closed to light weight high profile vehicles for 12 hrs on Friday, that's unusual in the middle of summer.

That back way into SLC via Hwy 6, lots of construction traffic, lots of dirt and oil field haulers, lots of tourists, and some twisties.
