Can anyone make any recommendations for good/no bs companies to lease on to? (Not lease purchase)
Most companies I have looked at, have either poor reviews or don't seem to hire in the pacific northwest.
I currently working on getting my own truck, and intend to lease on to a company for the time being.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Why? You’re looking for a truck without a plan on where to put it. Just because you have a truck you’re not guaranteed a company will lease you on.
What kind of trailer do you plan to pull?

I met a Driver recently who gave up his authority and leased onto Warren Transport. Only at it a few months. If everything he said is true. Sounds pretty good. Every time I’ve worked with them, they’ve been very Professional. If I were looking to Lease on, I’d check them out.

Like I said, I'm working on getting one, as in planning on buying one.
It's why I'm researching companies and on forums like this.
It's not that I don't have a plan, I'm in the process of planning.
Trying to get all the information I need before buying a truck, so I can make an educated decision.
However to answer your question, I'm intending to pull a 53ft reefer.

I have looked into Landstar already, and at the moment they seem like a ok option, and likely they will be the go to should I not find any other companies worth looking at. However, I would like to compare different companies and make a decision once I have that information.

Every single company on the face of this planet has a bad review. You need to find one that will best suit your needs, And I hope your aware that owning a truck right now is terrible risky. If I were you I would wait until um maybe never, I'm regretting the decision to buy but I'll plug away cause I don't know any better

I am quite aware of the current state of things, that is the exact reason why I'm intending to lease on to a company, and not run under my own authority at this time. I also have no intentions of buying a brand new truck either, that would be way too much to cover on a monthly basis with the market as is. I have done the math and set a budget for the trucks im looking at, and even if I had to park the truck until the market improves I will be able to afford it should I stay at my current job.

As for finding a company that suits my needs as you mentioned, that would be a better way to search for one I suppose.
Honestly I'm just looking for a company that I can lease onto:
that hires in the west coast,
    with no forced dispatch,
that is not reliant on spot market,
and pays reasonably well, taking the current market into consideration of course.

So ive been at this for awhile, honestly only a very select few companies have consistent enough contract freight where they don't need to rely on the spot market. Even if they have return freight it's usually low ball rates so they can get the contracts.
On top of all that when the market does rebound contract rates rarely increase to market. But I feel ya, I'm leased on with a one way dedicated and the backhaul is spot market and gonna hurt but it's consistent freight I tried own authority of load boards and that's a rough place right now. Economy period is in a rough spot something should spin around eventually
